Marina in San Pedro, CA.

Happen just to be around San Pedro, pretty much 1 year since USS Lincoln was in LA but since I was in the area I thought I check the marina out and snap some pics with my Galaxy Nexus. Since I left the apartment without my camera so this will make do.

Friday, Good Friday

It's April 6, 2012 which happens to be also Good Friday, sadly work doesn't get off work early today. Just looking through photos I took that's uploaded and thought I share this image I took last year out in Nevada's Valley of Fire. Still amusing to take a picture of a picture within a picture if it's right way to described it.

Frame within a Frame, Picture itself is a Frame, the sign is another, with a nice background reflection behind.

Raining St Patrick's Day

  Well we were all waiting for the storm since it was forecasted a week ago... surely enough sometimes between time I went to sleep and time I woke up in morning rain was going good. A steady rain... on St. Patricks Day!

A few reflective observations

   The ground hog has long since seen his shadow since it's long past February 2nd, but Los Angeles this year seems more balmy not as cold as previous year nor we get as much rain as we did last year if my memory is correct.  However life as you have it still stagnant here for me.. now on to some fun interesting observations.

~ Grand Canyon.
   As I may have mentioned before last April (2011) I drove out with family out to Grand Canyon (east rim), we did overnight driving from 10pm and got to the East Rim by the lighthouse to watch the sunrise. It was a beautiful sight, somewhat blinding too since you see the edges of the orange sun rising out of the distant cliffs and on the back of you, you can still see the moon high up in the skies but in the dark blue hues of the night. Quite contrasting images that I had the chance to capture while I was there, but the sunrise was rather quick.

October 2011 - Update

Currently still deciding if I should maintain this as a blog page or make the blog a sub domain and create a webpage for displaing the photography aspect of my work. So I'll put up a notice that it's UNDER CONSTRUCTION for time being. To Be continued... Addition photos @ Tumblr.

August - Reflection

Time really flies by even when you are working and relaxing when you can. Did manage to snap this picture at Valley of Fire, Nevada. I think it it evokes a certain mood looking at the photo, between the man made steps and the rock cliffs in the area. This was taken back in April on my family trip with my visiting uncle and aunt and with my Dad. Definitely think I should like print this one out and frame it!

Was at a Starbucks this morning... and had an interesting conversion that started after the barista asked me what's my name, I said Ken or Kenny either work. She responded "Or Kendall" after I said or Kenneth. LOL.. and she replied "I'm Kendall or Ken, but I dislike it when people call me Kendoll" lol.. names are a funny thing, but it's weird calling a female Ken... it just seems wrong haha. ~ 8/11/2011

February - Reorganization

Happy Lunar New Year to everyone that celebrates it!

My continue pursuit in photography, weather learning new lighting or working with models and other adventurers in photography will proceed onward. First I do have to decide how to organize this page outside of Modelmayhem.com
